Following Sony Pictures’ theatrical release of the film in USA, MovieScore Media releases the soundtrack album for acclaimed Danish director Susanne Bier’s romantic comedy starring Pierce Brosnan and Trine Dyrholm, Love Is All You Need. The director of such intense dramas as In a Better World, Brothers and After the Wedding here showcases a lighter side of her filmmaking vision together with composer Johan Söderqvist, who contributes a light-hearted and spirited orchestral score for the film.

Söderqvist is best known for his dark and mesmerizing score for Let the Right One In as well as his highly sensitive scores for many of Susanne Bier’s previous films. As a bonus, this album also includes music from one of the first collaborations between Bier and Söderqvist, a suite from the 1994 comedy Family Matters (“Det bli’r i familien).

Screamworks Records presents a truly eerie soundtrack album featuring Michael Wandmacher’s original score from the sequel to the 2010 surprise horror hit The Last Exorcism, produced by Hostel director Eli Roth and starring MTV Award nominee Ashley Bell as young Nell Sweetzer who reecounters the evil that possessed her in the first film.

Wandmacher, who is no stranger to the horror genre after effective scores for films such as Piranha and My Bloody Valentine, evokes mystery with dark themes and vocal effects while anxiety and sheer terror is conveyed with deeply textured electronics, prepared piano and orchestral avant garde writing. The album is released digitally online and on CD co-inciding with the theatrical release of the film in United Kingdom and Germany.

In his second feature film collaboration with director Nick Murphy, talented UK composer Daniel Pemberton delivers a dark, brooding and emotionally sophisticated orchestral score for a complex story about two police brothers are forced to investigate a crime they themselves have committed. The acclaimed score for The Orphanage won Spanish composer Fernando Velázquez a lot of fans around the world, and his current score for Orphanage director J. A. Bayona’s The Impossible has even more established the composer as one of the most talented film composers of his generation. MovieScore Media has released two of his previous scores, the large orchestral score for Shiver and the chamber jazz score for Garbo: The Spy. We are now proud to – after more than four years of preparations – present the world premiere recording of his score for Sexykiller, the Spanish horror action comedy from 2008 on our Screamworks label. Accompanied by a stylish soundtrack composed by Chan Kwong Wing and Peter Kam (The Warlords), Peter Chan’s Hong Kong action adventure Dragon tells the story about a martial arts expert who wants to start a new life but is hunted down by a detective and his former master. Norwegian composer Henrik Skram (90 Minutes) has composed a brilliant orchestral score for the Swedish drama Crestfallen (original title: Den som söker) starring Josephine Bornebusch. Following the Swedish theatrical release of the film on April 12, MovieScore Media releases the soundtrack album digitally online via iTunes and other platforms.

The score takes a sophisticated journey into dark territories with an emphasis on strings and piano, sometimes using unusual instrumental techniques to create an unsettling accompaniment to the story about a woman who, after her parents’ death in a car crash, finds out that she is adopted. Henrik Skram also uses some exciting brass writing for the more dramatic sequences in the film. Stylishly bookending the album are two compositions by Antonio Vivaldi that are featured in the film score.
