Original score from the 2026 fantasy adventure feature film directed by Juha Wuolijoki, starring Kuura Rossi, Pihla Viitala and Martti Suosalo, produced by Snapper Films Oy and released by Nelonen Media (Finland).

THE STORY: The town of Hömpstad is once again under threat from criminals and Vinski’s help is needed. When the criminals manage to steal the invisibility powder for themselves, Vinski has a real showdown on his hands.

THE SCORE: “Vinski 2 was one of those rare projects where I was given so much free reign by the director. Much of the score came from trying to find this middle ground between being cheeky with the genre conventions, trying to be very real to the subject matter and being as“eclectic” with every move and touch as possible. Help the story feel like it’s really going to all kinds of places. The supporting characters all pop out of the screen at you and there’s a wonderful contrast of different kinds of emotion and mood to every situation and predicament Vinski finds himself in. There’s a lot of comedy in the absurdity of the situations and characters. Vinski is looking at the world around him go mad in a way, which is a feeling many young people in that age feel like. The sheer power of all the performances and the production really gave me the solid foundation to build upon. I think the movie really ended up becoming a tour de force of switching gears at every opportunity and how to amplify every shot, every acting- and direction choice. I think Juha did a wonderful job at helping push me further and reach more colorful and unexpected places with the score. And I really hope the adventure comes through to the listener as well!“ – Henri Vartio
