THE SCORE: “Writing this score was a very personal experience for me and tapped deeply into my own experience of grief. The film asks indelible questions about love, death and life. Thea, the director, created an incredible cinematic space for the viewer to experience this work of moving art on their own terms and for a dance to occur between the cinematography, the music and the dialogue.” – Peter Raeburn

THE COMPOSER: Peter Raeburn was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and grew up in London, England. He is a multi-award-winning composer, music producer, and songwriter, and is the founder and creative director of Soundtree Music, an award-winning collective of composers that specialize in music for commercials, feature films, TV and the digital world. Raeburn has scored a variety of feature films including The Dry, Amazon’s Photograph, Nancy and A24’s Woodshock. His other films include Things Heard & Seen for Netflix, director Joshua Lenoard’s The Lie, Dark Was the Night, and Fully Realized Humans. He also scored Tell Me Your Secrets for Amazon Prime and Hit & Run for Netflix. Based in Los Angeles, Peter spends his time with his family, their dogs, the ocean and making music.
