THE STORY: Martin McGartland joins the I.R.A. and feeds information to Britain’s Special Branch Agent Fergus.

THE SCORE: The film is directed by Kari Skogland (Liberty Stands Still, White Lies) and in sync with her cinematic vision is Ben Mink’s percussive and intense electronic score. The soundtrack also features the song “We Will Have Won,” co-written by Ben Mink and Kari Skogland.

THE COMPOSER: Ben Mink has left his stylistic mark on countless albums, films and television programs. As a producer, songwriter and instrumentalist, he has recorded for hundreds of artists in every conceivable genre, including: Rush, k.d. lang, Feist, Barenaked Ladies, Anne Murray, FM, Raffi, Daniel Lanois, Bruce Cockburn, Wynonna Judd, Heart, Alison Krauss, Elton John, Roy Orbison and dozens of others. Ben has also contributed greatly in the area of film and television scoring. He has LEO Awards (together with Schaun Tozer) for Sundance Channel’s Terminal City, and for his solo work on the SyFy Mini-Series, Alice. In 2007, he garnered a Gemini Award for Confessions of an Innocent Man (Best Biography Documentary). In 2008, he scored the Ben Kingsley feature Fifty Dead Men Walking.
