THE STORY: Kurt and Lena move together into an old house to be closer to his his ex-wife Jana and their son little Kurt – but just as the patchwork family’s happiness could really begin, little Kurt’s sudden death leaves behind three adults who don’t know how to live with this tragic loss.

THE COMPOSER: Martin Todsharow earned his composition degree at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music. He has been working as a film composer since 1997 and since 2004, he’s been a professor at the Konrad Wolf Film University of Babelsberg. In 2013 he won the Preis der Deutschen Filmkritik Best Music Award for Sources of Life (Quellen des Lebens). More recently Todsharow entered the international film scene with movies like the psychological horror Friend Request (2016), the Norwegian disaster thriller The Tunnel (2019) and the G.I. Joe origin movie Snake Eyes (2021), starring Henry Golding and directed by Robert Schwentke. Todsharow’s score for for Til Schweiger’s The Salvation of the World as We Know It was released by MovieScore Media in 2021.
