Original score from the 2026 drama feature film directed by Mark David, starring Michael Madsen, Priscilla Barnes and Lew Tremple, produced by Buffalo Speedway Film Company, DBS Films and Red Basket Films, released by Indie Rights (USA).

THE STORY: Three generations of men – a millennial on the run from a drug dealer, his father (a jaded professor trying to keep his job) and the family patriarch fighting senility – struggle to find meaning in life.

THE SCORE: “Mr Wonderful depicts the life of a college professor and book writer, who must deal with major life restructuring, a son that mixes with the wrong crowd, the heartbreak of dealing with his father’s devastating effects of dementia and the pain of loss. The score had to depict life as was unfolding, simple,  heartwarming, fun and at times, heartbreaking. I welcomed the opportunity to write a few songs for the soundtrack, which allowed me to use a different pallet of instrumentation, and I also took the opportunity to compose an orchestral  suite inspired by Mr Wonderful titled ‘A Life Fulfilled’, dedicated to my teacher who also suffered greatly by dementia. Eternally grateful to be given the chance to compose the music for such a wonderful film, directed and written beautifully,  and portrayed by a great cast including the late Michael Madsen who will be sorely missed.” – John Koutselinis

THE COMPOSER: John Koutselinis has composed music for over 40 projects including the award-winning series We Are Angels, the multi-award-winning historical fantasy short Centurion Resurrection, Dragonball Z & The League of Legends which has amassed over 15 million views, and the music for producer/director Brian Presley’s previous movie, The Great Alaskan Race. John is the recipient of 4 awards, including ‘Best Music Score’ by the Sydney Independent Film Festival for the original score of the film Nephilim, and the ‘Best Music’ award by the British Horror Film Festival for In Extremis. He is also the recipient of several nominations, including nominations for the prestigious Jerry Goldsmith Awards. His scores for Hostile Territory, Deus and Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday have been released by MovieScore Media.
