Original score from the 2026 wildlife documentary feature film directed by Johan Candert, produced by Deep Sea Productions, released by SK Films.

THE STORY: Earth’s oceans, from Norwegian fjords with hunting orcas to Indonesia’s diverse reefs, portrayed with focus on conservation work protecting endangered sharks and restoring coral ecosystems.

THE SCORE: “Making Ocean Dreams was intense and joyful. The film travels across the world’s oceans, and the music ended up travelling just as far. What started as an ambient, airy score built on electronics grew into a full orchestral score. That change came out of a close collaboration with the director and the editor, and it took a huge effort from the whole music team. Thank you all.” – Uno Helmersson

THE COMPOSER: Uno Helmersson is an award-winning Swedish composer and multi-instrumentalist whose credits include the worldwide hit TV series The Bridge, broadcast in more than 100 territories and for which he was awarded a Golden FIPA. Most recently, Uno scored Netflix hit series A Nearly Normal Family, documentaries Antidote and Ibelin, as well as the family adventure Nelly Rapp: The Dark Forest. Other credits include Flee, The Painter and the Thief and On the Inside of a Military Dictatorship. Uno is a featured MovieScore Media artist with several releases on the label: The Lion Woman, Magnus, On the President’s Order, Heartbound, Hacker, Bobbi Jene and the two Danish crime features The Keeper of Lost Causes and The Absent One, co-scored with Johan Söderqvist and Patrik Andrén.
